Dr. Bruno
Anthony Bruno, II, MD. graduated from Wyoming Area High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Scranton, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. At graduation, Creighton University honored him with the Most Outstanding Student in Surgery award. He then began training in general surgery residency.
Dr. Bruno completed six years of training in general surgery at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, and at Creighton University Medical Center. He was then accepted to further his training at the prestigious Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he spent three additional years training in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Bruno became certified by The American Board of Surgery in 2007. He is also board-certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

After thirteen years of education and training, Dr. Bruno moved back to West Pittston in 2007 to live, raise a family, and serve the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania with his medical skills. Dr. Bruno joined Geisinger, where he started and built the plastic and reconstructive surgery department at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
After ten successful years of practice, he decided to leave Geisinger and open a private practice. Doing so allowed him to serve the individualized needs of his patients better and deliver optimized plastic surgical care. Over his 20 years of practice, Dr. Bruno has successfully grown his practice and received numerous patient satisfaction service awards. He has extensive experience in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery in Lackawanna County, including very complex procedures.
Dr. Bruno is an active member of his community and church. In 2016, The Italian American Society named him Man of the Year. He was also given the Times Leader “40 Under 40” Award, honoring local professionals for being outstanding leaders and role models in business and the community. He is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Wilkes-Barre program.

Danielle I. Bruno, Esq. is the Practice Manager of Bruno Plastic Surgery, P.C. in Moosic, Pennsylvania, a private cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery practice she owns and operates with her husband, Anthony D. Bruno, II, M.D.
Drawing on her background as a licensed attorney in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina, Danielle brings a unique level of structure, ethics, and attention to detail to the daily operations of the practice. Her leadership focuses on patient experience, efficiency, and transparency from consultation to recovery.
Danielle oversees every aspect of the patient journey, from scheduling and communication to financial coordination and staff management. Her goal is to ensure that every individual who walks through the doors of Bruno Plastic Surgery feels cared for, informed, and confident in their decision.
Before managing Bruno Plastic Surgery, Danielle practiced criminal defense law in Wilkes-Barre and Durham, North Carolina. Today, she applies the same advocacy skills she used in the courtroom to advocate for patients—ensuring they receive the highest level of professionalism and compassion throughout their care.
